Mary Garcia currently serves as the Sr. Diversity & Inclusion Consultant for Oracle. In this role, Mary oversees and implements the vision / mission of Oracle’s Veteran programs and initiatives which is to transform strategies into results and lead change management initiatives. Developing cultures of high performance, quality and excellence are cornerstones of Mary Garcia’s career.

Previously, Mary served as Eastern Regional Manager and Sr Manager of Program Development for the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) National Headquarters. Prior to NSHMBA, she was with the University of North Texas and worked in Advancement as a Development Officer for the College of Information and as a Director in Student Life in the Division of Student Affairs. Additionally, she also serves as part-time faculty in the UNT Women Studies department teaching an upper-level theory course.

She has more than 15 years of leadership and management experience, with increasing scope and responsibility and has received numerous awards for outstanding performance. She was recently recognized with the “Top 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders Award” by Diversity MBA. Mary Garcia earned both her M.A. and B.S. from Texas Woman’s University, where she majored in Political Science and Sociology.

Mary brings compassion, high level of confidence and trust, understanding, and diverse perspectives and lends her ability to deliver organization effectiveness and strategic change in her work–leaving a positive imprint on the lives of those she touches.
