As the diversity and inclusion director at Texas Instruments, Fran Dillard oversees and manages TI’s diversity strategy and programs, including the company’s network of diversity initiatives which brings together dozens of grassroots, employee-led organizations.
Fran joined TI in 2008 as a human resources manager in one of the technology and manufacturing fabrication plants in Dallas. Since that time, she has held HR leader roles across several TI businesses including analog and embedded processing and power. During her TI career, Fran has driven all facets of HR services, with a focus on talent management, employee relations and workforce planning. Her expertise includes coaching, advising employees, recruiting top talent, succession planning and targeted leadership and executive development and employee training.
Fran is passionately involved in the community and an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., where she serves as the lead teen sponsor for the North Texas Chapter. She is a Fellow of the National African-American Women’s Leadership Institute (NAAWLI), and was selected as one of 40 outstanding women leaders from across the nation to join the elite Leadership America Class of 2015 network.
A proud wife and mother of four, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and listening to music, particularly jazz.
Fran earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from the University of Texas at Arlington.
